Chloe Corbin, a freshman at The Woodlands High School, won third place in a CISD Holiday Christmas Card Contest.

“I entered because it would be a fun thing to do and I like doing art and it’s a fun hobby of mine” said Corbin, who has been taking art classes since 6th grade.

She drew a holiday card of a bird and the artwork was Christmas combined with nature. Her favorite part of the process was drawing the bird’s details, like the feathers.

“I like art because you can express you emotions and feelings and people can interpret it in their own ways,” Corbin said.

Chloe is considering entering in future art competitions.
