Four drinks at Black Rock Coffee Bar – they are open 5 a.m. – 8 p.m. daily. They have stores in eight states now.

Recently opened on College Park Drive near Chick-Fil-A, Black Rock Coffee Bar is a franchise with many locations in Washington, California, Oregon, Arizona, and Colorado, and now rapidly growing its business in Texas. Black Rock Coffee Bar caters to all ages, with their many offering a wide variety of coffees, smoothies, teas, and even energy drinks, not only do they offer drinks they also have some bakery items.

I recently went to Black Rock Coffee Bar and upon entrance, I was greeted by a “hello” and the environment inside made me feel really welcomed.

When entering there is a bright colorful wall to the right, with designs inspired by the state of Texas, and various organized seating options throughout the Coffee Bar. When ordering the drink, the first thing I noticed was the customer service. The people who took my order were very friendly, but they were also fast-paced.

With a wide variety of drinks, it was really hard to choose what I wanted, but when I asked the worker she recommended an iced caramel blondie. The coffee was very rich and strong but had the perfect amount of sweetness and caramel, it did not disappoint. The menu consisted of an assortment of classic flavors of coffee, there were not many unique or bold flavors but it covered the basics like the vanillas, caramels, hazelnuts, and mochas.

I am always looking for different coffee shops to try out, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. Although I believe their menu isn’t as creative as other places, the premium quality of coffee and drinks makes up for it. I am excited to have another place to go to whenever I’m in that area. If you are also looking for a new coffee shop to try, I think it is safe to say that Black Rock Coffee Bar is a place I would definitely recommend you try.
