Don’t sleep on Snooze
Craving pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, or burritos? Snooze A.M. Eatery offers various morning foods that can be customized in depth. The restaurant is located on Research Forest and is open from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on weekdays, and closes at 4:00 p.m. on weekends.
Snooze is visually pleasing with a modern, colorful, and bright interior. The inside of the building is open, so even when it is crowded, I do not feel overwhelmed. Adjacent to its outdoor seating, there is a Corn Hole game set if interested in playing with family or friends. Overall, the eatery has a comfortable and cute atmosphere.
Unfortunately, when the restaurant is busy, finding parking and a table can be difficult. Occasionally, my family has had to park across the street due to the overcrowded parking lot. If you plan to eat at Snooze over the weekend, be prepared for chaos in the parking lot.
There are various options on Snooze’s menu, many of which can be customized in depth. I find this to be an important factor in a restaurant as I am vegetarian and often encounter issues with that. For instance, on their menu, they have an egg scramble. As an alternative option, I ordered the tofu scramble. I added avocado and spinach to the dish. On the side, I got tortillas instead of toast. You can also ask for hot sauce on the side (I asked for Cholula). I relished the food I ordered: I wrapped all of the contents in the tortilla (including the potato hash and hot sauce) and ate it in a few bites. The friend I ate with ordered the Vegan Bliss Pancakes. She drizzled some maple syrup on her pancakes and fruit, and also enjoyed her meal.
Snooze’s staff has consistently been kind and helpful. Whenever I had a question concerning the contents of the Snooze Breakfast Burrito, my waitress had no trouble answering my question. Once, when a friend dropped and broke their glass of water on the floor, a waiter was quick to help and clean up the mess. Overall, the customer service at Snooze has always been excellent in my experience.
Snooze A.M. Eatery has been one of my favorite restaurants for a while. It has a pleasing interior and environment, mouthwatering food, and great customer service. I would recommend it to everyone; whether you have dietary restrictions or not, there are options for everyone.
