TWHS Theatre is hosting their annual ‘Egg Your Yard’ event, a community outreach event where people can pay to have student volunteers place Easter eggs in their lawns the night before Easter, April 19th. You can sign up to volunteer or to have your yard egged. The due date to sign up is April 18th, and the proceeds benefit the TWHS Theatre Department.
Volunteers are split into different groups, who drive between different buyers’ houses to place the eggs around the lawn for the evening. All students are welcome to volunteer, including those who don’t actively take part in theatre and participants can expect to egg multiple houses throughout the night.
As for the houses being egged, with multiple volunteers working at once, one house can be completed in around 20 minutes. Anyone interested in buying an “egging,” the cost varies based on the amount of eggs: 50 for $35 or 100 for $50, with the department also offering an $8 “Deluxe” egg.
Signups are not yet available for interested volunteers, however, in the meantime, those looking to participate can donate to the theatre department’s March donation drive. They’re looking for Easter-themed treats like candy, plastic eggs, and small toys.
TWHS Theatre is always looking for more volunteers/donations, so any sign-ups would greatly benefit them. Anyone looking for a surprise on Easter morning can buy it here: https://www.twhstheaterboosterclub.com/egg-your-yard.html.
