The Woodlands High School sent eleven girls to compete in the regional powerlifting meet on February 22, 2025. Three out of the eleven girls are moving on to state to compete.
Bethany Prior placed 1st in her class; setting a new regional record with an 890 lb total and tied the regional record with a 390 lb squat. Holly Mullins placed 2nd, earning the silver in her weight class. Mullins also broke the regional bench record with a 260 lb bench. Kae’lyn Miller placed 3rd in her class and is the final competitor that will be moving on to the State Championships. Others that competed in regionals earned rankings in their respective classes. Baylee Baker (4th), Kenzie Radford (8th), Delainey Dallavis (9th), and Myla White (11th) all deserve recognition for their placements in the competition.
The state meet will be held on March 12 in Edinburg, Texas. Congratulations to every girl who went to regionals and best of luck to our three girls moving on to compete at state.
