Ome Calli Cafe
This shop is one that was introduced to me by a close friend of mine over the summer, whilst we were visiting the local farmer’s market down Grogans Mill; and it was one that caught my attention immediately. The store has a very grounded and earthy aesthetic and vibe, with comfortable couches inside and outside, spice-tinted scent filling the store, and traditional South American artwork covering the walls. I always have a great time stopping by Ome Calli while at the farmers market in order to get some of the best lattes I’ve had!
They feature a wide variety of snacks, pastries, teas, and coffees; including cinnamon muffins, avocado toast, and a wide variety of health-boosting mushrooms that you can add to almost any drink for an extra $1! The main coffee I order is called The Garden ($6.39), which is a double-espresso shot mixed with their house-made rose and lavender syrups. The earthy, floral spice that encompasses this drink is perfect; in the words of my mom, it “tastes like a coffee garden,” a solid 9/10 from me, When I brought my mom for the first time, she ordered the Power Chai ($6.39), described as a double-espresso shot with “aromatic chai spices;” including cardamom, cinnamon, and nutmeg. I tried it as well, and it is spicy in all the very best ways with a 8.5/10 rating from my mom.
Ome Calli Cafe is located at 2260 Buckthorne PL 179, off of Grogans Mill, but you can also find them on their website and Instagram @omecalli_cafe!
