Blue Bell’s newest ‘Fudge Decadence’ is bomb

On Sept. 3, Blue Bell came out with a new ice cream flavor called “Fudge Brownie Decadence”. Although the name sounds intriguing, it was an overload of different flavors.

Ice cream has been my favorite food since I was young. I could eat gallons at a time and have tried so many different kinds. Blue Bell has been a staple ice cream brand that always has the basic flavors everyone enjoys.

However, this flavor could have been left out of the stores.

When you open the carton you can see that both chocolate and vanilla ice cream are mixed together, which seems odd because the name makes it seem like a chocolate overload. When I took the first bite, I got pieces of chocolate chips and bites of brownies. The crunchy chips made the ice cream so much better. The chocolate ice cream tasted very artificial and not like the regular Blue Bell Dutch Chocolate flavor.

It could be a personal preference on how I like my ice cream, but I wouldn’t waste your money on this flavor. Blue Bell has so many other flavors to choose from that are outstanding. Fudge Brownie Decadence didn’t make it on my list of good ice cream flavors. Blue Bell was not on top of their game on this one, sadly.
