Mr. Dennis Muehsler has been named the new principal of TWHS for the upcoming 2025-2026 school-year. He is currently serving as the principal of TWHS 9th grade campus.
Mr. Muehsler began his TWHS career in 1998 as a history teacher, then became an assistant principal, and associate principal of the Main Campus- finally he moved into his current 9th grade campus position. Mr. Muehsler said that he is most looking forward to “continuing our tradition of excellence and growing our students in the Highlander way.”
Our current principal, Dr. Ted Landry, will be moving into a new position at Humble ISD as their Deputy Superintendent in June. After 7 years of working as the TWHS principal, he says that it has been “an honor to work alongside such a talented and caring group of educators.”
We wish both of them luck in their new roles.
