The Woodlands High school Improv troupe will have a virtual improv show Saturday, Sept. 19, at 7 p.m. to raise money for the Montgomery County Food Bank.

The show will take place over zoom, and in addition to the “zoom-prov” the troupe will be premiering their new digital shorts which the improvers have been writing and filming over the past few weeks.

“We really wanted to express that even though the world is falling apart, comedy is still alive,” Improv troupe co-president Lauren Fenner said.

All of the money raised from the show will go to the Montgomery County Food bank, which is still providing food for those in need during the pandemic.  https://mcfoodbank.org/mcfb-response-to-covid-19/

“Food is in constant demand, there’s been a 109% increase in [dependency on] food banks, comparatively from last year, so we want to make sure that Montgomery County Food bank has a good turn out,” Fenner said.

Anyone wanting to watch the show can purchase tickets through the link located below, Tickets are $5 for a single person and $7 for a family https://www.showtix4u.com/event-details/39894
